What is so special about India?


When i am trying to answer this question i can see many of unique specialties of INDIA, but at the same time this answer can't be exhaustive. Different eyes sees different specialties of this country :-
To a theologian INDIA provides a unique subject matter of intermingling of large number of religions and changes induced into them due to this intermingling.
To a philosopher it provides many new philosophies which explains very easily many critical aspects of life. Samkhya,Yoga, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Mimamsa,Vedanta can be considered leading Indian philosophies in this regard.
To an anthropologist it can attract greatly as Indian Population is polygenetic and is an amazing amalgamation of various races and cultures.The main ethnic groups of her are Negrito,Proto - Australoids, Mongoloids,Mediterranean or Dravidian,Western Brachycephals,Nordic Aryans.
To an economist it has been land of wonders and questions. Most of economists wonder despite being so heavily populated and limited resources how its economy is able to grow with such a high growth rate during the periods of recession in other world.
To the political thinkers it already have proved wrong who predicted that democracy cant be sustained in this country after its independence and would always be subject of great interest to them.
To the historians it has been of great importance because from ancient times it has close association with rest of the world mainly bcz of its trade especially in spices.
To an artist whether he/she belongs to architecture, music,literature etc it definitely offers  something special.
To science it had contributed immensely from ancient times, its ancient knowledge of aayurveda, astronomy, mathematics, surgery,yoga are well known to everybody.
To a geographer it provide a subject matter which includes all possible types of terrain, vegetation. 
As i said earlier that no answer can be exhaustive in this regard but i hope this can provide a window through which u can view India's specialty.
